Hey fellow crafters! Today I have a cute little tutorial to share using the August Creative Kit from My Creative Scrapbook.
When I have created lots of layouts from my kits, sometimes I just get inspired to create some sweet and simple cards with all of those leftover bits and pieces. Today I have four 4x4 mini cards to share.
First I start by created 4 card bases from 1 sheet of 12x12 white cardstock. Cut one 4" strip from your cardstock, then turn the cardstock in your trimmer, and cut 3 more 4" strips.
For this first card, cut the pink patterned paper to 3.75x3.75. Cut a strip of the yellow patterned paper to 3.75x0.75 and adhere both to the card front.
Using 3D foam squares add the large heart sticker. I then added the yellow patterned paper circle and the Hello Sunshine sticker to a piece of white cardstock that I cut using a punch I have in my craft stash. Adhere this also with 3D foam squares.
For this second card cut the green patterned paper to 3.75x3.75 and adhere to the card front. Add strips of the yellow ribbon cross ways across the front of the card. Cut out your sentiment and adhere it to the card using 3D foam squares.
For card 3...cut the green patterned paper to 3.75x3.75. Cut white cardstock to 3.25x3.25, cut the blue patterned paper to 3x3 and adhere these layers together. Add your stickers and sentiment matted in white cardstock.
Cut a piece of pink patterned paper that is 3x3.5 and adhere to the top left hand corner of your card. Cut a green banner that is about 1x2.5 and flag just one end. Add to the top left hand corner.
Add the HELLO to the bottom of the card and the kite sticker to the right hand side of the card.
That's it! Now you have 4 super easy note cards to add to your stash.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
