4 Quick and Easy Christmas Cards by Tracy McLennon

Design Team member Tracy McLennon is featuring our December Creative kit today with 4 quick and easy cards just in time for the holidays!

Simple Blocked Card:

The card base for this sweet little card is 4.25x4.25. I then simply cut 4 squares of patterned paper that were 2x2. Adhere to the card front. Then I picked my sentiment sticker or tag, I matted it in cardstock and then popped it off of the card base.

All That Glitters Card:

This card base is your usual 4.25x5.5. For this card I wanted to focus on sparkle, so I picked my background pattern and cut it to 4x5.25 and adhered it to the card base. Then cut a narrow piece of the striped pattern that is .75x4. Added my glitter half circle to the top, and popped up the glitter tag adding the die cut JOY letters. Sweet, simple and sparkly.

Tag Front Card:

This card base is 4.25x5.5. I cut the red patterned paper to 4x5.5, and the polka dot pattern to 3x5.5. And adhered them to the card front. Then I cut 2 strips of the striped pattern to 0.75x4 and adhered them to the top and bottom of the card. Then I matted the glitter tag in light green cardstock and popped the layers apart using 3D foam tape. I adhered the tag to the middle of the card front and then added the red ribbon.

Bits & Pieces Card:

This card does not use any of the patterned papers, just some bits and pieces. My card base is again the usual 4.25x5.5. I cut another piece of white cardstock that is 3.75x5, and adhered that to the card front using 3D foam tape. Then I added the decorative tag with pink ribbon. I added the glitter dome image again using 3D foam tape and the little tree in the corner. So simple, so sweet!
