How to Use Bits and Pieces on Your Pages by Alicia Giess

DT member Alicia Giess is up today with tips featuring our July Creative Kit!

Here's Alicia:

Hi, this is Alicia, and I'd like to show you how I love to use bits and pieces on my pages to take advantage of Pam's awesome kits.

The first page I want to show you is this one:

You can see how I used the tiny journaling strips in the kit by adhering them to black cardstock, adding some pop up dots, and creating movement on the page with them.

Here's another example on how you can use the bits and pieces of each kit:

On this second page, I took advantage of the colorful stickers in the creative kit by using them against the dark patterned paper.  The stickers did not have to be matted since the colors popped so well against the black background.  Again, the stickers placed throughout the page created movement.

On my third page for the creative kit here:

I created a visual triangle around the stenciled frame with the journaling strips and shapes to cause the eye to move from one element to another.

Don't be afraid to use lots of embellishments on your page.  Pam's kits always contain lots of fun pieces and parts that make your page come together quickly.
