Step by Step Layout Tutorial by Anna Zaprzelska

Did you have a good weekend? We have a wonderful step by step layout tutorial for you today prepared by My Creative Scrapbook Design Team member Anna Zaprzelska featuring our April Limited Edition kit.

Here's Anna:

Hello lovely MCS fans and friends, Anna here:-)
I will share today how I made the layout,
using wonderful goodies from Limited Edition Kit.

First, you need to adhere the page title.

Apply gesso and cover all the title and part of the background paper, let it dry.

I used a sponge, I think it is perfect for this technique;-)

Place your mask in your chosen position, apply gesso, let it dry.

Then, you cut out the pieces of a background in a contrasting color,

distress it,

and attach them using foam tape.

You can use the packaging...

I've used packaging for buttons, distressed them...

Attach them using foam tape. Then you adhere the photo.

Cut out the border,

and attach them using foam tape.

Add some color to your chosen flowers, which the kit includes. I've used dabber paints.

Adhere the flowers and your favorite embellishments.

Brads...

and chippies...

Are you ready for some real fun? It's time!
So ... you cover the photo. We will use gesso and a toothbrush:-)

You moisten the toothbrush in water and add some gesso to it.

When you rub the brush using your finger, gesso will splash onto the page.
It is very fun and... unpredictable:-)

A little splashing at the top and at the bottom...

You did it! Here is the finished layout:-)

 Have a nice day,
Anna
