Embellishment Making Tips by Yuko Tanaka and a Sketch Challenge Reminder

Hi everyone! My Creative Scrapbook Design Team member Yuko Tanaka is sharing how she made her balloon embellishments on her layout featuring our April Limited Edition kit.

Here's Yuko:

I made this layout using the April sketch.

Here is how I made the balloons look like stickers.

Use PanPastels with a stencil to add a design to white cardstock.
Spray a fixative to seal the pastels.

Paint with a glossy medium (I used Collage Pauge) using a paint brush.

Rub a transparency or clear packaging on with your fingers and let dry.
Tear transparency off slowly.

The completed balloon has the luster of a sticker.
