A Handful of Detailing Tips by Steph Devlin

Happy Friday! Let's kick off the weekend with some wonderful tips from My Creative Scrapbook Guest Designer Steph Devlin featuring our March Limited Edition kit:

Tip:

When using gelatos with a stencil, always make sure that you give the surface a coat of gesso to adhere the gelatos to the paper. The gesso will also make the colors appear more vibrant as well.

Tip:
Digital files such as the flourishes on this layout can be printed out onto transparency and added to any project to give a little flair and drama.

"Love" Tag
Tip:
Separate multiple layers with foam dots to give the appearance of depth.

" Faith " Card
Tips:
Color your lace in your kit with Gelatos and a waterpen to custom color your embellishments to match your paper.  Another fun technique is to adhere the lace to transparency and attach it to the back of the card !! This stiffens the lace and makes it look like it is "floating" from the back of the card.
