Adding Definition to Resin Embellishments by Lou Collins

Today Design Team member Lou Collins is showing us how she added some extra "wow factor" to the resin embellishments in the December Limited Edition kit.

Here's Lou...

These Prima Resin Angels are absolutely beautiful as they are, but i found that I wanted them to stand out a bit more and give them a little more definition so we could see all the beautiful detail on them.

It was really quick and easy and this was the result...

So here is what I did... I laid my angel on a piee of kitchen towel, and liberally spritzed the resin with a dark brown mist. I used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Tattered Leather.

Then I gently dabbed the excess mist off the raised pieces of the angel with another piece of kitchen towel, leaving the colour to sit in the creases and grooves of the design. I left it to dry before attaching it to my page!

Thanks for sharing such a simple idea that looks so good, sometimes the simple things are right in front of us but we don't seem to adopt them. Great idea.
