Autumn is all about slowing down, spending quality time with loved ones, and seeking out joy in the simple moments. Nicole captured that essence perfectly in her latest layout titled "Delight in the Little Things."
Layout Highlights & Design Details
Dynamic Pattern Layering: Nicole framed her page with soft, subtle plaid and grid patterned papers, then built a vibrant focal cluster in the center using bold geometric prints, warm rust tones, buttery yellow dots, and cozy fall shades.
Playful Sentiment Die-Cuts: The title pieces—"delight IN THE LITTLE THINGS" and "seek out JOY"—add rich color and playful hand-lettered style directly beside the photo.
Layered Embellishments & Botanical Touches: Notice the charming details added throughout, including location marker tabs ("i am here"), sentiment tabs ("currently"), cut-out leaves, die-cut tags tied with twine, and record accents that bring texture and dimension to the page.
Handwritten Journaling Spot: Using a patterned card frame, Nicole added handwritten notes detailing a fun morning spent exploring, sharing breakfast, and shopping together—reminding us all to document the small, meaningful details.
