Maree here up on the blog to share a layout using the October main kit. This was such a great kit with tons of fall icons and gorgeous colors. I loved creating with it this month.
I started this layout with a the striped rainbow paper. I thought this was such a fun paper to feature and it didn’t really need too much extra embellishment. I did however choose to add some stitching to the page. I matched as closely as I could embroidery floss to each color, and added a chain stitch up to the first break.
To do this I first punched the holes using a paper piercer. Then I stitched each color in a simple chain stitch. I really like the dimension it added to the page.
I added my 3 pics backed on a charcoal card stock and added to title “LOVE - stay curious’ on the top right picture. I added a few more embellishments but wanted to keep the layout pretty clean.
I really like how this layout turned out and love the fun colors for my museum pics. Happy Fall everyone!
