Welcome back to the My Creative Scrapbook blog! Today, we are so excited to spotlight a fantastic outdoor layout created by Melissa Minor, using our August Main Kit.
If you have big milestones, hiking trips, or weekend getaways waiting to be documented, Melissa’s layout is bound to spark your creativity! Titled "GO ROAM ADVENTURE," her design beautifully captures a major achievement—a 28-mile birthday ultra-run up a 14,000-foot mountain peak.
Melissa utilized the kit’s rich earth tones, geometric paper piecing, and mountain embellishments to frame two stunning photos from the summit. We especially love the thoughtful details—from the stitched diagonal paper panels to the fun layered ephemera like the yellow tent, friendly bear, directional arrows, and journaling tag that tells the full story of the day.
