Maree here, up on the blog to share a layout using the May main kit. I was drawn to the fun strawberry paper in the kit and it made me think of a trip to the markets my family took in Barcelona.
I used this paper for the background of my layout and added a white card stock base to break up all the fussiness. I then machine stitched around the edge to help adhere and add detail. Next I decided to use a simple grid design with 3 squares on the top half of the page and 3 on the bottom. The squares measure 2.5 x 2.5 inches. I backed them all with the yellow and green papers in the kit.
I added pics to 5 squares and used the 6th to add the cute sentiment ‘Sweet happy days’. I added the foam title ‘So much Fun’ on top set of pics and the made an embellishment cluster based around the little lemonade stand on the bottom left. I added strawberries vines and flowers to suit the layout. I added a few phrase stickers underneath overlapping the pics.
Finally I added another flower cluster on the right side, the good times chipboard phrase and then my journaling. I really enjoyed making this layout and hope it give you some inspiration to use your kit!
