I really enjoyed working with the April main kit this month and absolutely loved the sketch that came with the kit. I had a picture of my daughter with 3 friends that was so cute and decided to pick up on the blues, pinks and purples for this layout.
I started with the large banner in the background. I made it about 5 1/2 inches wide and 9 1/2 long. I decided to stitch around the banner in craft black thread to make it really pop. Next I added the rectangle layer. I used one part of the blue gradient paper and again I stitched each section for definition.
I added my pic which is printed in a 4 x 4 inch format. Next I added the beautiful lacy boarder form the Laser cut elements. I added the title "Pure Magic" from the die cuts and them embellished in 2 clusters with many of the pink and purple floral laser cut pieces. I love the definition and delicate nature of the laser cut pieces. I finished by adding journaling and adding the "Beauty is all around" laser cut to the top right corner of the rectangle.
This was such a fun kit to play with and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
