There is something uniquely refreshing about starting a project with a sketch. It takes away the "blank canvas" anxiety and lets you dive straight into the best part: playing with your beautiful kits! Today, we are celebrating the versatility of a great design by showing you how our talented Design Team interpreted this month’s featured sketch.
One Sketch, Endless Possibilities
This month, our team took a gorgeous, layered sketch featuring a central photo focal point and dynamic pennant elements. It’s been incredible to see how the same blueprint can transform depending on the kit and the story being told:
Lavender & Honey Dreams: Using the April Limited Edition Kit, designers like Sandi Clarkson, Marie Sabatier and Michele Schmidt leaned into the soft purples and floral patterns, creating ethereal layouts filled with dimensional blooms and honey-sweet details.
Bold & Playful: Patty McGovern-Pugh used the Creative Kit to show off a punchy, graphic side of the sketch, proving that clean lines and vibrant colors work just as well with this design.
Creative Celebrations: Melissa Minor took a mixed-media approach with the Main Kit, incorporating a stunning rainbow palette and artistic embellishments that perfectly capture a "being creative" theme.
Pure Magic Moments: From Maree Crozier’s elegant concert memories to Nicole Santos’s fun "spring visitor" story, the sketch proved to be the perfect foundation for every kind of memory.
