Welcome back, My Creative Scrapbook friends! It’s Jinny here today. I hope you’re all still enjoying last month’s Creative Kit. This month is all about Easter, which is perfect for all those family and friend pics I know y’all took last month. I did work up three Easter pages, not to mention a trio of Easter cards; but my daughter has a pet bunny, and I couldn’t resist using some of the May Creative Kit treats to put together the page I want to share with you all today. So, let’s just get started. Shall we?
I started this page by adding puddles of pink and blue watercolors to the 12x12 watercolor paper, base page. I then splattered it with those same shades of watercolor, as well as orange watercolor and Pure Black and Titanium White acrylic paints. Once everything was dry, I anchored strips of four different Echo Park prints, along with a scalloped element sticker, vertically, near the left side of the page, with black-threaded, straight, machine stitching.
I then matted my photos with white cardstock; adhered them, stacked over the prints and backed with a snippet of cheesecloth for additional texture; and crowned them with a couple of darling, Simple Stories, foam, bunny stickers.
Both chipboard and cardstock sticker, bunny banners overlap near the top of the page and crown the “BUNNY” pendants, which were popped up with foam tape and sandwiched between two white, string bows.
Carrot and heart foam stickers were then hung from black-threaded, straight, machine stitches that originate at the chipboard, bunny banner mentioned above.
A trio of chipboard and element phrase stickers, adhered in the same vertical fashion as the prints themselves, complete the look.
And just in case you missed them, here are a few more projects that I created using the May Creative Kit.
Thanks so much for visiting today, My Creative Scrapbook friends! I cannot wait to see what you all cook up with this month’s kit(s)! Be blessed!
