Hello and welcome back to the My Creative Scrapbook Blog!
Today I’m having fun with the December Main Kit and creating a layout that features that fabulous patterned paper with all the circle elements. I just love a paper that gives you great bang for your buck and this is definitely one of those! Also, as December is always such a busy month, I appreciate those papers that help you to create something impactful relatively quickly – so you still get that precious creative time.
I stuck some flat to the page, overlapping some of the smaller circles and raising some on foam, creating depth and dimension.
To house my photo I used a circular frame from the ephemera pack. Love how this lets me fully integrate the photo right into the wreath design.
I pulled out smaller ephemera pieces and stars to help embellish the wreath, but as there is so much colour and fun icons on each of the circles, I kept the embellishing simple so as not to overload the page.
I added one of the fun acetate pieces to the centre, using it to anchor my title.
To finish, I added a big red bow to the bottom and splashed some gold ink around the wreath to add that extra festive sparkle.
I hope this has inspired you, and you manage to find some scrappy time for yourself over the festive season.
Happy Holidays & Happy scrapping!
