Family with Maree!

 Today we have designer Maree up to share with you what she has created with March Main Kit!

Hi Friends,

I'm excited to share this layout with you today. I am using the March Main kit and focusing on the Page Pieces from Simple Stories included in the kit which made this page come together very quickly!

I just love the colors in the kit this month. Teal and pinks are my favorite colors to work with. And the pretty florals too!

I started by selecting the teal dotted paper for my background and adding it to white card stock to make my base. I machine stitched around the border. Next I decided to add some hand stitching to the big title to add more color and dimension to my page. I selected matching embroidery thread for each letter and chain stitched the center of each letter. I love how it turned out.

Then I added the white plaid as my grounding layer before adding my picture and the 'good things ahead' cut apart. Then I added the floral ephemera in the corners and some fussy cut butterflies. I added a few crystals from my stash in the center of each floral. I love the little sparkle they give.

I added a tag and more ephemera in the top right corner - I always seem to like 3 clusters on my pages.  I finished the page with a little white ink splatter and of course my typed journalling.
