Happy New Year Home decor with Marielle!

Happy New Year everyone !!
I'm totally in love with the first main kit of the year ! The Crate Paper- Maggie Holmes's Snowflake collection .
I created this whimsical home decor frame with the kit and a 10"x 10" wood frame from Jillibean Soup from my stash.

Step 1- Assemble materials from the kit: Knitted, Bundled, Marshmallow and Frosted papers, Snowflake Chipboard Stickers and the Snowflake Die cut pieces. Other :White cardstock ,white push pins (4), white twine, scissors ,small wooden clothespins and a 10"x 10" wooden frame.

Step 2-Using scissors fussy cut 5 of the sweater images, a few hats and scarfs from the Knitted patterned paper. I adhered the sweaters to white cardstock and trimmed the edges to add a little sturdiness to them.

Step 3- Cut a 9"x 9" piece of the Frosted paper and adhere to the insert of the frame.

Step 4- Add white push pins on each side of the frame at 2 1/2" and at 6 1/4" .Wrap white twine around the push pins and tie a small bow on the left of the top row and to the right of the bottom row.

Step 5-Trim out the "stay cozy" pennant from the "Bundled" paper and the snowflake from the "Marshmallow" paper.

Step 6- Trim out the small snowman die cut frame , as shown.

Step 7-Decorate each of the sweater pieces and tags, as desired.

Step 8-Clip each piece to the "clothesline" with small wooden clothespins.

Step 9- Adhere the Let it Snow and snowflake chipboard pieces on the frame, as shown.

This was so fun to make !
Here's a few more views of this Winter themed frame.

Thanks so much for visiting the blog today, I hope you've enjoyed my whimsical frame.
Have a great New Year !
Hugs,
Marielle
