Hello, My Creative Scrapbook friends! Yvette here, and today I am sharing a layout that incorporates two of my favorites....fussy cutting and using cut files.
I started by fussy cutting the beautiful flowers found on patterned paper 05. I drew an outline in pencil around the floral cluster, which made it easier for me to follow while fussy cutting.
Next, I cut the cut file from some white cardstock, and since my idea was to arrange the fussy cut flowers and my photo in the middle of my page, I simply deleted the cutlines in the word summer.
I added a few die-cut branches in with the fussy cutting and used both liquid glue and foam dots to adhere everything down.
Apart for the floral clusters, I really didn't need to add too much embellishments to this layout. I used the word 'Always' found in the Indigo & Ivy titles as well as a die-cut piece as my title and added a few more ephemera pieces to finish off this layout.
Here's a couple of close-ups....
I hope you like this page and it has inspired you to create your own!
Thanks for stopping by :) xx
