Hello MCS fans! Aimee here with you today to share a step by step tutorial. I had the pleasure of working with the fun and whimsical creative kit that is filled with Photo Play's Bloom and Doodlebug's Spring Things.
And here is my layout...
Step 1: trim pieces from the pink Bloom paper.
I counted six lines and cut. Some were taller but that's ok because I wanted to give some variation to my fence.
Step 2: Trim a piece of yellow cardstock and glue to each piece of the pink Bloom fence post on the top and one piece of yellow cardstock for the bottom.
For my layout, I made 2 sets...one to go on the left side and one to go on the right but you could make one continuous fence.
Step 3: I trimmed the 2 strips from the Doodlebug Springtime Spots and adhered to a sheet of white cardstock. Then I ran it through my sewing machine with a straight stitch.
Step 4: I added some pink and yellow paint splatters and let dry. Then I adhered a set of layered patterned papers to be the base for my photo.
Step 5: I adhered my fence pieces to my layout and before the glue dried I slid one of the Doodlebug trees behind the fence.
Step 6: I added an adorable little bee and some flowers to my fence.
Step 7: Using an exacto knife, cut out the outer circle of the Doodlebug You Are My Sunshine
Step 8: Adhere your photo first and then add the circle to layout
Step 9: Use pop-dots on the back of the Spring die cut
Step 10: And adhere to layout
Step 11: Cut 3 circles from pattern papers and glue them together. Glue button to the center to create a small handmade flower. Adhere the flower and banner to top left corner of layout.
Your layout is complete now!
Thank you for visiting us today and I hope you enjoyed this step by step tutorial!
