Melissa is a returning guest designer for My Creative Scrapbook!
Melissa was born and raised in American Fork, UT. After graduating from Brigham Young University, she and her husband moved to Southern Nevada where they currently live with their little girl. After the birth of her daughter, Melissa wanted to make handmade Thank You notes to send out and became hooked immediately on card making. It all spiraled from there and has become a wonderful and rewarding part of Melissa’s life. “I love creating things for other people, and I enjoy the process of working with my hands to turn ordinary paper into something heartfelt. My loves are card making and altering anything that sparks my interest. I enjoy every minute of it and I love to share my creations with those I love.”

Karan Gerber
My Name is Karan Gerber and I am addicted to scrapbooking. I reside in south western Ontario, Canada, with my family. My husband, Glenn of 20 years and our two boys; Elijah 18 and Galen 15. My passion for this hobby definitely shows in the projects I love to create and you will often see the faces of my loved ones on my layouts. I love to create tags, cards, altered canvas; mini albums. I love creating all kinds of paper projects. But my true love lies in 12x12 layouts. I love chunky and lumpy. I can best describe my style as detail oriented of which i love to incorporate textures and layers of dimension whenever i can. From canvas, paper, to chipboard, fabric. I enjoy tucking tags for journal spots and hidden elements that the reader can pull out and learn more about the people in the photo.
I am currently on the Design Team for Heartfelt Creations and teach workshops in cardmaking and scrapbooking at two large scrapbook stores in Ontario. I am so thrilled that Pam has invited me to Be A guest Designer here at My Creative Scrapbook and I hope my creations inspire you.
