Hi friends! It's Mary Ann here today with a cute card made with the beautiful April Main kit. The best part...a fun surprise inside the card!
To start, I cut 3 rectangles of the patterned papers
(blue floral: 4.5"x3.5", light pink: 4.75"x3.75", dark pink: 5.25"x4.25")
I layered the rectangle pieces together on my card base, and added the "just a note" journaling card, a tiny scrap of a doily I had saved from a dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, and then the sweet little tea cup die cut.
To complete the front of the card, I added the "you are my happy" die cut using a foam square to give it just a bit of dimension.
And now for the fun part inside the card! I cut a small square of the plastic packaging the Thickers alphabet letters come in, and glued it to one of the Pebbles die cut frames to make a pocket.
Next I slipped another small piece of the doily and a tea bag into the pocket.

I finished off the card by adding the leaves, yellow flower and thinking of you die cuts, and also replaced the paper tea bag tag with the pretty pink flower.

I hope you enjoyed following along...Be sure to check out April's kits from My Creative Scrapbook!!
