Card Sketch and 3 Card Samples by Liz Chidester

My Creative Scrapbook design team member Liz Chidester is up today with a beautiful card sketch plus 3 card samples, all featuring our March Main Kit!

Hello! Liz here to share a card sketch with you along with 3 different takes on the same sketch.

 

Below, I followed the sketch pretty close using the March Main kit (I used the Main kit on all of my cards). I cut the flowers out of the floral patterned paper and placed them behind the chipboard sentiment.

 

For this card I did away with the horizontal ribbon and divided the background into 3 different parts which was inspired by the 3 vertical blocks from the sketch. In place of a sentiment block I used large chipboard elements and a doily die cut.

 

For my last card I topped it with 2 rows of ruffled trimmings and made 3 banner pieces instead of the vertical strips. I just had to use this adorable chipboard camper so I used that as my focal point and used it as my base for the sentiment.

 

So you see I made 3 very different cards all with the same sketch.
