Adding Realistic Leaves to Your Layouts with Lou Collins

Design Team member Lou Collins is showing how she turned fussy-cut leaves into dimensional embellishments!

Here's Lou...

To make these realistic leaves on my {M} layout, I cut the small leaves from the edges of some of the Prima Tea Thyme papers using some small scissors.

Next I inked the edges with a brown ink and foam applicator.

To give them depth, I fold each one upwards in half along the centre vein line.

Finally, when I stick them down, I try to cluster a few together peeking out from something, and only glue them down along the center fold so that the leaf can be lifted upwards.
