Welcome our New Designer & Guest Designers for March!!

Yes, we've got another line-up of amazing designer's working with this months beautiful kits.  Let me introduce them to you (although I believe they really don't need too much of an introduction, I think most of you know these talented ladies by sight now! :)  We were so delighted as we saw each of their projects roll in this month, help me welcome them to MCS!

Karen Grunberg (Main kit)

My name is Karen Grunberg. I am a mother to two amazing boys who are one and five. My wonderful husband, Jake, and I have been together for sixteen years and he's my best friend. I am delighted to work for Google on our browser, Google Chrome (if you haven't tried it, you should!). I started scrapbooking right before my older son was born, about 5 years ago. Since then, it's become one of my favorite hobbies. I am delighted to design for The Girls' Paperie and Pink Paislee (http://www.pinkpaislee.com). I founded and design for Creative Therapy (http://creativetherapy.wordpress.com). And I regularly teach at Big Picture Classes (http://www.bigpictureclasses.com). I love teaching almost as much as I love taking classes and learning new things. When I am not with my family, taking lots of photos, or scrapbooking, I read voraciously and write on my blog. Melissa Vettorel (Main Kit)

My name is Melissa Vettorel. I have been married for 8 years and have 4 wonderful children. Kevin is 13, Troy is 10, Kyle is 9, and Alexis is 4. Yes, 3 rambunctious boys and a little princess, they are my true inspiration. My husbands in the Air Force so we move around every few years we've been to Illinois, Guam, and now we started a new adventure in Alaska. Alaska is gorgeous and I love it. Where else are you going to get such beautiful snow pictures. I was introduced to scrapbooking in 2007 by a friend and I haven't stopped since. My hobby has long since turned into a crazy obsession, I'm sure my husband would agree. Along with scrapbooking I love photography. I never realized my true passion for it until I started scrapbooking.
I am truly delighted to be a Guest Designer for My Creative Scrapbook and I'm honored to be working with such an awesome Design Team.

Jeni O'Connor (Limited Edition Kit)

Jeni I returning for a second month as Guest Designer here at My Creative Scrapbook, we are all so fond of her wonderful artistic whimsical style.  In case you missed her bio from last month here it is....

Thank you for the opportunity to share my scrapping creations with you as February's Guest designer. I'm known here as Joc although my real name is Jeni O'Connor. I'm a proud Aussie with a Canadian dh so I get to spend a lot of time in beautiful Canada. We have gorgeous twins, a boy and girl, who are growing up way too fast for me.
I've been a scrapbooker in some form for as long as I can remember. Over the years I've ventured into lots of different craft hobbies but there's something about scrapbooking that stuck nearly 15 years ago. I thought I'd tell you 10 things about me you might find interesting.
1. I asked Santa for my first camera when I was 8 and I still have a scrap book I made when I was 9.
2. I'm a true gemini and always have way too many things on the go at once.
3. I'm a vegetarian.
4. I spent 3 years living/working in a remote part of Australia. Each week our food would be delivered in a shipping container on a barge.
5. I spent time in India working in one of Mother Theresa's leprosy clinics and lived on a commune in Scotland for a while.
6. I've climbed the Anapurna Range in Nepal. While I was there, I remember thinking a short walk was three hours. Now a short walk is to the letter/mail box.
7. When I scrap I like to tell the hidden story in the photo.
8. I always put a black heart on my layouts as a signature to my kids. Sometimes I hide it for them to find.
9. I mostly journal on the back of my layouts.
10. I've been writing about scrapbooking in an Australian magazine, Scrapbook Creations, for the past 41/2 years.
Thanks for the privilege, Jeni.

Sarah Mullanix (Main Kit & Album kit)

And last but not least we have Sarah who did some Guest Designer work for us last month and has now become a Fulltime Design Team Member here at My Creative Scrapbook!  Welcome to the Team Sarah!  We are delighted to have you join us!   Here is Sarah's bio, in case any of you missed it las month....

My Bio:
My name is Sarah Mullanix and I live in central Indiana with my husband of
15 years, our 3 kids, and our yellow lab. I have been scrapbooking for 14 years
now, and I've been teaching classes and designing for the past 5 years. I love
everything that scrapbooking has to offer, it is my passion! I enjoy scrapping
pretty much on a daily basis, and I'm lucky enough to have an entire room all to
myself dedicated just for scrapbooking! My style usually involves traditional
designs with added whimsical elements and layering. However, I do love to try
many techniques and various styles on my layouts. I feel very blessed to have
this opportunity to design with My Creative Scrapbook kits, and to have made
so many friends through scrapbooking.
