Please join me in welcoming Jackie Anderson as a new Design Team Member!! Many of you have seen her beautiful work as a Guest Designer here at My Creative Scrapbook, and we are delighted to announce that has agreed to become a full time member of the MCS team!
We asked Jackie to share a little bit about herself with us, so grab a cup of coffee and enjoy getting to know Jackie a little better! :)
My name is Jackie Anderson (aka anderjackie & JackieA). I live in a small, rural community in central Utah. I have been happily married to the love of my life for 16 years. I am mother to three grown sons and two grown step-daughters. With all these adult children you would think that I would have more than my two grandchildren, but no. I have apparently raised a brood of slackers! Needless to say, my 10-year-old grand daughter and 4-year-old grandson are spoiled rotten! I have been an 8th grade English teacher and a newspaper reporter. I currently work part time as a classroom facilitator for our local university satellite campus.
I have been scrapbooking in some form since I was in high school and earned a badge in a youth group for making a scrapbook. I really became hooked when I attended a scrapbook house party twelve years ago. When I discovered the online community I totally went off the deep end! I have been a member of the Creative Team for Gone Scrapbooking at the national Examiner.com and a guest designer for My Creative Scrapbook. I could not be more thrilled to join this talented team full time and continue playing with the gorgeous kits that Pam puts together for us each month.
