Nature’s Beauty: Michele Schmidt Inspires with the Limited Edition Kit

Today, we are thrilled to share some gorgeous inspiration featuring our latest Limited Edition Kit. If you love soft tones, vintage botanical vibes, and gorgeous dimensional details, you are going to absolutely fall in love with this stunning layout by design team member Michele Schmidt!

Michele beautifully captured the essence of outdoor exploration with her layout titled, "Everyday Adventures." Using two beautiful photos set against a scenic backdrop, she layered a dreamlike mix of soft pinks, warm yellows, and vintage text prints.

What makes this page truly stop you in your tracks are the spectacular details. Michele expertly clustered the kit's iconic elements—including a charming vintage birdhouse, buzzy little bees, and sweet "Wild Bloom" and "Sunshine" word strips. To top it all off, she added incredible texture using the kit's large, lifelike dimensional flowers and lush green leaves that practically pop right off the page.

My Creative Scrapbook May 2026 Main Kit

If you're looking for a great way to treat yourself I hope you consider trying a subscription to one of the My Creative Scrapbook monthly kits. This time I'm playing with the Main Kit that includes 12" papers and embellishments from Simple Stories "Pink Lemonade" Collection. You'll also find die cuts, stickers, and lots more! The theme this month is summer inspired.. think butterflies and flowers, as well as refreshing lemons, strawberries and cool drinks.

The papers in this kit are plaids, gingham, dots, and florals in rainbow colors of Red, Pink, Creamy Orange, Yellow, Green and Aqua. There's a pop of black in accents and sentiments that adds great contrast.

I had fun arranging the different elements. I usually group them together to fit a common theme - like the card above I wanted to look like butterflies in a meadow, and the card below with the fresh lemons and the pitcher of lemonade.

When I have my layout decided I'll try to go in and add a few more pieces like the flowers and the butterfly on this card.

Everything you see on my cards is included in the kit EXCEPT for the white cardstock card bases, solid cardstock cover matts, adhesives and enamel dots. Things that you already probably have in your stash right now.

You'll have fun making cards or documenting memories with this kit. No matter what your style too. I love to make scene cards, but collage, mixed media, clean and simple, layered..... whatever your style you make this kit yours!
