Welcome back to the My Creative Scrapbook blog! Today we are thrilled to share a stunning layout created by Design Team member Michele Schmidt using our Main Kit.
Michele’s layout, titled "HAPPY DAYS," is a perfect display of how rich colors, expressive watercolor backgrounds, and playful embellishments can bring your everyday snapshots to life.
Layout Highlights:
Mixed Media Background: The background features bold, vibrant splashes of teal, warm yellow, and deep red watercolors. The watercolor effect adds dramatic texture and depth, making the entire design pop.
Layered Patterns: Michele balanced the vivid background with geometric patterns, retro orange dots, and starry dark navy border strips across the center.
Embellishment Clusters: Tucked around the main photo are charming die-cuts and die-cut tags, including leaves, tickets, and sentiment pieces like "out & about," "SEEN & NOTED," "seek out JOY," and "HERE & NOW."
Bold Title Work: The large "HAPPY DAYS" title stands out with its mint green patterned paper fill, dark outline, and a sentiment sticker reading "snapshots - MEMORABLE MOMENTS" layered across the letters.
Michele has a step by step video for you, you can watch it here.
