Spring has officially arrived at My Creative Scrapbook, and the March Main Kit is bursting with the floral elegance and whimsical charms needed to document your favorite moments. This month, Design Team member Maree Crozier is showcasing the versatility of the kit with beautiful layouts that range from nostalgic afternoons to fresh, outdoor adventures.
In her first featured project, Maree takes a trip down memory lane with "Smiles." This charming page captures the magic of a 2014 tea party, utilizing the kit’s adorable themed ephemera—including tiered cake stands, teapots, and cupcakes. The soft pink background and subtle stenciling allow the playful elements to pop, proving that this kit is just as perfect for heritage photos as it is for current events.
Maree also shifts her focus to the great outdoors with "Fresh Air." Highlighting a scenic hike in Boulder, this layout uses a clean, white textured background with vertical mixed-media details to give the page a sense of height and movement. The green striped accents and "Happy Day" sentiments tie the nature photography together beautifully, illustrating how easily the kit adapts to masculine or outdoor themes.
Happy Days & The Good Life
In this bright and cheerful layout, Maree captures the simple joy of feeding ducks in Christchurch. The design features soft green floral and blue cross-stitched patterned papers, layered with playful, kid-friendly embellishments. From the smiling sun and vibrant frogs to the "The Good Life" cloud, every element emphasizes the happiness of a spring day. The addition of the greenhouse and butterfly ephemera creates a beautiful garden atmosphere that perfectly frames the photos of Lilly, Ella, and Thomas.
Spring Fun
Celebrating a special moment meeting ducklings, this layout uses a unique diagonal "torn" paper effect to create a dynamic background. Maree utilizes a sweet daisy print paired with a clean white base, accented by hand-stitched pink borders. The "Spring Fun" and "Hello Spring" titles, combined with adorable bumblebees and ladybugs, bring a sense of movement to the page. It’s a wonderful example of using high-contrast titles and garden-themed ephemera—like the wheelbarrow and watering can—to tell a heartwarming seasonal story
Whether you are documenting a quiet day at home or a walk in the woods, Maree’s work shows just how much story you can tell with the March Main Kit.
