Farewell to February: A "Take Note" Wrap-Up!
As the calendar turns and we prepare to welcome a new month of memories, it’s time to take one last look at our stunning February Main Kit. This month was all about the bright, cheerful, and retro-inspired "Take Note" collection from Simple Stories, and seeing what our Design Team created has been an absolute joy!
From the punchy pinks and teals to the whimsical icons like typewriters, cameras, and clipboards, this kit was designed to help you document the "everyday" with a pop of personality. Whether you were scrapbooking family gatherings, quiet moments at home, or fun adventures with friends, the February Main Kit brought those stories to life with style.
Design Team Inspiration
We’ve been blown away by the layouts and projects shared this month. Let’s look at how some of our talented designers used the kit:
Nicole Martel perfectly captured a cozy family moment, using the bold heart trails and the "Smile" sentiment to frame a beautiful black-and-white photo.
Patty McGovern-Pugh leaned into the graphic elements of the kit, creating a stunning circular focal point with the "Keep Life Simple" butterflies.
Jeanne Jachna showed us the incredible versatility of the Main Kit by crafting a vibrant, layered card. By mixing the typewriter focal point with the "Focus on the Good" banner and delicate floral die-cuts, she created a miniature masterpiece that’s perfect for sending a little sunshine to a friend.
Melissa Minor brought a high-energy feel to her gym selfie layout, layering the "Happy" speech bubble and floral clusters for a fun, dimensional look.
Maree Crozier showcased the softer side of the kit, mixing the black-and-white floral patterns with the "Good Things" banner for a fresh, breezy outdoor layout.
