Hi everyone
December is finally here, and the festive scrapbooking is in full force!
There were so many beautiful papers in the December Main kit, I wanted to select a
few to feature on my page, and with-it being December, I thought I’d use them to
mimic wrapping paper!
I tore two strips of patterned paper to create a band across the page which would
anchor my design, and then began the paper rolls!
I cut strips of about an inch to an inch and a half wide and rolled them around a
pencil, adhering with glue. Once they were dry I used wet glue again to adhere them
to my page.
As they add a lot of dimension to my layout, I used layers of foam pads behind my
photograph and embellishment clusters to make sure the layout felt balanced.
I used a selection of parcels from the ephemera pack, layered with some puffy
stickers and some big bows from the phrases sticker sheet – these are such a fun
element to add to this design.
Under my photograph I layered one of the cut apart cards which gives the layout an
extra pop. To help the lettering stand out, I outlined it with a black sharpie pen, and
of course added an extra bow for a bit more fun.
Finally, for my title, I used black letters from the Phrase sticker sheet, and grabbed
some Thickers from my stash to add the word Wrap!
Love how this turned out and it was such fun to make!
Thank you for joining me on the blog today. I hope it’s given you some more festive
inspiration, and I look forward to seeing all your festive makes!
