Creating with Claire using the March Main kit from MyCreativeScrapbook.com

 Hello,

Claire here with you today using the March 2025 Main Kit.  I love this kit – it's so versatile and can be used to document a whole host of photos! For this post, I’m showing you how I’ve used one of the patterned papers to create a fun striped design, packed with rainbow colour whilst retaining a clean look with lots of white space.

I took the striped paper made of small squares and cut it into strips by colour, laying these across the page in diagonal lines to create a graphic design.

I stuck them flat with glue, and then once in place I filled the gaps with Nuvo Drops from my stash in a coordinating colour. Love how this looks!

Next, I fussy cut some of the tickets and cards from the patterned papers and layered these together on foam to create an anchor for my photograph. I also fussy cut one of the tags, incorporating this in between the layers for extra interest and depth.

To soften the edges, I fussy cut some flowers from one of the papers and adhered these in between each layer, also adding the ‘remember’ phrase from the sticker sheet on top of my photograph.

Along the diagonal edge, I used the chipboard sentiment ‘real Life’ as my title. I really like this as it incorporates all the colours of the patterned paper, helping the design feel cohesive.

To finish the design, I again used some chipboard, stickers and fussy cut florals to create a small cluster along the top, being sure to incorporate all the colours to bring the two sections of the design together.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post. It was definitely a fun design to make, and I hope it has inspired you to create with these beautiful kits from My Creative Scrapbook.

Happy scrapping!

Claire xx
