Rebecca Moore Craft Room Tour - come join the fun of seeing where I create!

Rebecca Moore design team member for MyCreativeScrapbook is here today to share here scrapbook room with us .

To the left of my desk is my main storage. I have a 3x4 Kallax unit which I LOVE! I have open spaces, drawers and the canvas pull-out boxes built into this unit.

I store all of my scrapbooking collections in Totally Tiffany boxes, which I source from Amazon. I can fit 3 in each Kallax section and I have them organised generally by manufacturer, with Christmas and Halloween having their own boxes. I love these boxes as they are open at the top, which means as I'm flicking through, the collections are visible and easily accessible, and I often come across collections I forgot I had!

I have two drawers built into the center of my Kallax. These currently hold my Ink Pads. This isn't ideal as it's difficult to see all the colors, so I've ordered myself a nice new unit to house them. When it eventually arrives, it will sit on top of my Kallax unit.

At the bottom of the unit are 3 canvas boxes. One of these houses all my thickers and alphabet stickers. The other 2 house layouts which are waiting to be placed into albums.

On top of the unit, you'll find my printer. I print all my photos from home so this stays out all the time, constantly plugged in ready to go. I also keep my collection of Nuvo drops and alcohol inks on top of this unit. Confession time - I totally stole this storage idea from fellow DT member Claire! It's a clear acrylic shelving unit and I love how pretty all the colors look on display. Check out Claire's room if you love this idea - she has lots of acrylic storage units and her room looks awesome.

To the side of my Kallax, is a 4 drawer trolley on wheels. In this I keep all the essentials - adhesives, pencils, rulers, ink blending brushes, Crop-A-Dile... all the things I reach for all the time. It keeps them easily accessible, and it means that if I want to scrap in front of the TV in the lounge, I can just wheel it through really easily. On the lower shelves I keep my stash of sequins, some mixed media sprays and anything else that doesn't have a permanent home yet!!

Over to the right of my desk, I have a built in worktop which I keep my Silhouette Cameo 4 on and a couple of other supplies. This is a lovely clear space at the moment but if I'm honest - it's usually a dumping ground for anything I can't be bothered to put away, and for anything my husband can't be bothered to return to the garage!!

Underneath this unit, I have a set of plastic drawers. In these drawers I keep all my threads, mixed media textural items such as hessian, paper flowers, netted materials etc, along with all my punches, embossing powders, manual die cutting machine, glue gun..... yes... it's full of everything! If it doesn't have a home, it usually ends up in these drawers.

And if it doesn't fit in those drawers... I have another set behind me!! Eventually, I would love to get another large Kallax unit to sit behind me, and I would move everything from these plastic drawers into the Kallax and make the room a bit prettier!

And finally... I have a third set of plastic drawers. I use this set to store all the layouts in that I haven't got around to filing in albums. If you hadn't already guessed, I'm really bad at filing into albums! I have a wardrobe upstairs full of empty albums, but I'd rather scrapbook than file layouts. So this unit is now full. It means I will actually need to spend some time organizing and filing layouts now.

And that's pretty much it! It's not the most amazing craft room and it's not even been decorated since we bought the house 7 years ago! I have big dreams for this room though. I hope to paint the walls white, rip the carpet out and replace it with a lovely grey laminate floor and get that extra Kallax unit in. It would be nice to get a few pictures or layouts up on the wall as well to add some colour. But there we have it, my little slice of heaven. I hope you've enjoyed my tour, and don't forget to check out everyone else's too!
