Super Cute & Easy Kids Summer Craft by Tracy McLennon

Design Team member Tracy McLennon has an adorable kids summer craft project idea and is sharing the steps to create it!

Here's Tracy:

It's summertime!! That means fun in the sun and lots of memories being made. I thought I would share a quick and easy craft that can be made on a rainy afternoon with the kids using bits of leftover patterned paper.

These corner Monster Bookmarks are so easy to make and I know you already have everything you need to create them at home.

Your first step is to start with patterned paper squares that are 4x4. Then using a marker and a ruler draw lines from corner to corner diagonally.

The next step is to cut out one of the triangles. Then you are simply going to fold on the other 2 lines.

Adhere those triangle flaps together, creating a pocket for a page corner to slip into.

Now it's time to decorate!
Let your kids or yourself get crazy to create your perfect monster. I used a small circle punch for the eyes, and cut tiny squares to make the pointy teeth. You could use googly eyes, feathers, stickers....the options are endless! Enjoy this super easy summer kids craft!
