Adding Color and Texture to Chipboard Shapes by Shell Carman

Hello! We are back with more Main kit inspiration and tips today. My Creative Scrapbook design team member Shell Carman has prepared a great tutorial for you!

Here's Shell:

Hi There

Shell Carman here today with a quick & easy technique on how to alter the chipboard fence in the Main Kit used on this page

You will need
Cream/Antique White acrylic paint
Clear Crackle Paint
Brown ink
Foam brush
Heat Gun

1. Paint the chipboard fence with 2 coats of Cream/Antique White Acrylic paint

2. Once the paint is dry apply a thick coat of clear crackle paint. Allow to dry naturally for 5 minutes then use a heat gun to assist crackling.

3. When the crackle paint is dry randomly ink fence to add some rustic charm

This is a simple way to add some texture & a vintage look to your page.

Thanks for looking!
Cheers
Shell
