A Canvas "How To" with Delaina....August Mixed Media

The August Mixed Media Kit is completely fabulous! I have created an 8x10 Canvas using the Prima Doll Stamp and all the glorious goodies Pam included.... Hope you enjoy!

Step by Step...

 Paint the Canvas Background ...

Use Mod Podge to adhere fussy cut paper elements...

add more fussy cut paper elements...

after all the fussy cut elements...then cover the entire canvas with Gesso...

I added a chipboard word from my stash and small alpha from the Kit.. and covered with Gesso..Added lots of flower and button elements, with word phrases...cover all with Gesso...

Stamp and Cut Out entire Doll...

Stamp and Cut Out dress, head band, and show embellishments...

Stamp and Cut Out shoes in black cardstock...

Stamp and Cut Out Hair in Brown Cardstock...

Cut Up the Lace to add to the Dress...

Add lace to dress using a clear glue....

Glue all pieces onto first stamped doll form...add bling to the head band and shoes...

I also added rub-ons and a few more flowers and buttons to the back ground, covered with Gesso....I then went in with a little pink ink and masked a few diamond shapes, just for a little color contrast...
