My Creative Scrapbook Guest Designer Lydell Quin has a wonderful flower tutorial for you today featuring our May Limited Edition kit.

Here's Lydell:

"Everyone loves using flowers on a page sometimes, I am sure. I love creating little floral arrangements on my girly pages, but sometimes feel like all the larger flowers don’t always sit well next to one another. What I find I need are smaller flowers, to act as filler flowers in the gaps, which are very easily made from any left over printed paper that co ordinates with your page, using punches. Let me show you how I made them. They are so simple.

I used the paper with Music notes on it for all the flowers I created, and just punched oodles of Larger and smaller daisy flowers

I used another tiny flower to use as my base to glue it all onto, but you can use a small circle if you like….this is optional, just makes it easier to handle.

Fold all the flower petals up on each flower and add a drop of glue to the base of each, and slip it inside the first. Make sure the petals are offset from the layer underneath.

Once I had all my layers together I used my paper piercer and pressed down firmly in the centre to squish all the layers together more, it also causes the petals to pull up a little more.

And you are done!
So a recap…..

I got out my glitter glue and edged the edges of each flower to match them to the glittery Prima ones.

I also punched some leaves from a Martha Stewart leaf punch and filled even further with these. So pretty!

I hope you will give these easy little flowers a try.
:) "
