Paper Bow Tutorial by Jamie Harder

Are you wrapping gifts this weekend? We thought you'd enjoy seeing how Design Team member Jamie Harder created her beautiful gift bow using the December Creative Kit!

Here's Jamie...

I thought it would be fun to use some of my kit supplies to make a beautiful and unique gift bow to decorate one of my gifts this year.

Step One: Cut 3 strips of patterned paper to 10 1/2 x 3/4 inches; 3strips 9 1/2 x 3/4 inches; 2 strips 8 1/2 x 3/4 inches and 1 strip 3 1/2 x 3/4 inches.

Step Two: Twist each strip so that they make a loop on both ends and meet in the middle. Staple or adhere them in the middle. The last strip (3 1/2 x 3/4 inches) you only need to make a loop and adhere.

Step Three: Take the three longest pieces and layer them on top of each other, spacing them evening, to create the base.

Step Four: Add the next longest three strips and layer them on top of your base.

Step Five: Add the next two strips and then finish off with the circle loop in the very middle.

You have now completed your bow and are ready to use it on a gift!

wow this is amazing and a great way to use up leftover paper to match the wrapping.
