Textured Chevron Background with Zoe Nemburt

Can you believe we are already into the last week of October?! Whew, time is flyin'!

Today we have a very creative chevron technique from Design Team member Zoe Nemburt.  Enjoy!

Here's Zoe...

See the chevron background I created on this layout?

I created this in 3 easy steps. First I used a 12 x 12 stencil and modelling paste.

removed the stencil and set aside to dry

next up add some colour with sprays, chalk, or any colouring medium. (sorry forgot the picture for this step).

Lastly you can add some detailing with a pen like what I did here.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful technique, Zoe!

Before I sign off for the day, I want to remind you about our October sketch challenge.  There is a gorgeous prize package ready to be shipped to the randomly drawn winner.  But don't take my word for it... have a look for yourself...

See what I mean? So head on over to our sketch blog where you will find all of the challenge details.

Such a cool page. I've never thought of doing this. I bet its gorgeous in person with all that texture. Is the modelling paste acid free?
