Layout with Marielle!

Hi all, Marielle here today to share this boy layout created with a girly paper collection from the June Main Kit.

Always be Kind

Step 1 -Assemble materials. To make this a more boy friendly layout,I chose supplies from the blue and green range from the kit.

Step 2-Adhere a piece of white cardstock on a slight angle.

Step 3- Add splats of navy paint, let dry.

Step 4- Stamp various sized hearts from the stamp set included in the main  kit on a piece of white cardstock . I used navy ink for my layout.

Step 5- Add a few layers of patterned paper under your photo.

Step 6- Fussy cut a strip of the hexagone paper and adhere under the edge of the white cardstock.

Step 7-Add a few strips of papterned papers at the bottom right. Machine stitch into place,if desired.

Step 8- Add title, I used Thickers from a previous kit and one of the journaling cards.

Step 9- Fussy cut a few of the hexagone shapes and adhere to layout with 3D foam.

Step 10- Finish your layout by adding a few cute butterflies and stamp a few small hearts on the white cardstock.

Thanks for visiting today.
Happy Crafting !
Marielle

Blessed with Monique

Hello everyone, it's Monique here, with a detailed step-by-step of my "Blessed" layout. The June kit with the Early Bird collection from Bo Bunny contained the most amazing papers, like the sheet with all the clocks, which was definitely one of my favorites!

This is the page I made:

Here's how I created it: I started with the white cardstock and selected five different color mists, inks, etc.. which I sprayed and splattered horizontally over the center of my white cardstock like this:

Also included in the kit is this stamp set from 1Canoe 2 and I used a few of the stamps for my background as well:

I placed my photo on the cardstock background, below the stamped word "love" and punched and cut a series of clocks from the "Clocks" sheet:

Moving the clocks this way and that I came up with this design, which I quite liked. Except for the 10 clocks I also added a few die-cuts (butterfly and flowers):

I cut two strips from the paper "Time Flies" and adhered these at the top and bottom of my layout. I also added a few more die-cuts (bird, flower and another butterfly) and adhered the wood veneer word "blessed" on my photo:

Of course I needed to add some machine stitching:

and some hand written journaling:

After stamping the date (twice) my page was finished!

Two more close-ups:

This is it! Hope you like it!

Here's the photo of the June Main Kit. If you wish to read more about it and how you can secure one for yourself then please visit the MCS website.

Thank you so much for stopping by our blog today! Wishing you happy scrapping!

Card share with Tracy!

Welcome back crafty friends! Today I am sharing a sweet little project that I created using the June Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook, featuring the Early Bird Collection from Bo Bunny.
I always like to create a few cards with the left over bits and pieces of a kit, and this collection had so many sweet embellishments with a tea theme. I just had to create a little git card with those embellishments.
MCS-TracyJuneMain-4
The card base is 6x6 in white cardstock.
Cut the teal patterned paper to 5.5x5.5. Adhere to the card base. Cut a strip of the pink patterned paper to go all the way across the card.
Find the large wreath die cut, and the smaller clock image to go in the middle and cover the sentiment. Adhere this piece to the card using 3D foam squares.
Add the "Time For Tea" chipboard embellishment to the middle of the card.

Cut apiece of the pink and yellow patterned paper that is 1.75x6. Adhere to the inside of the card with adhesive along the sides and bottom of the patterned paper to create a pocket. Cut a strip of the striped patterned paper that is 6" long. Adhere along the top of the pocket.
Add the tea cup die cut. Now your card is ready to tuck your favourite tea to share in the pocket, to brighten someone's day.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
