Adventure Time with Caroline!

Hi, Caroline with you today and happy to be there for My Creative scrapbook

Today I will share with you a step by step tutorial to make a gorgeous layout using our July LE kit edition. This kit is soft and romantic, it reminds me a lazy summer day at the beach.

Let me show you first my layout

I've started with a thin coat of Prima clear gesso over the entire background made of 2 gorgeous Santorini papers from our LE kit.
Then I came back with a Liquitex white gesso to soft the flowers in my background.
This is the place I'm gonna put my picture and embellishments at the end of course.

I used a modeling paste over a Vicki Boutin flower stencil included also in LE kit.
I colored my modeling paste with some Lindy's gang magical powder, Cocklebells coral.

Here's the result once all dry. This is a soft pink that goes perfectly with the pattern paper.

With the same Magical color from Lindy's gang, I went over my stenciling to make some watercolors effects. I mixed powder and water beside my layout to use it like ink.

I made some drops around to finish.

To fit with my layout, I used Oom Pah Pah pink embossing powder from Lindy's over the Creative Embellishments chipboards frame included in the kit. I love their chippies.

To add a bit of texture behind my picture I sprayed a piece of cheese cloth with Merci beaucoup mint spray from Lindy's also.

Once I placed all my embellishments together to make my layout, I added some art ingredients rocks here and there beside my flowers all included in LE kit to complete.

I finished with mini ones.

I will leave you with some close ups!

That's it gang! I hope you liked it and thank you for being there with me!

Layout with Marielle!

Hi all, Marielle here today to share this boy layout created with a girly paper collection from the June Main Kit.

Always be Kind

Step 1 -Assemble materials. To make this a more boy friendly layout,I chose supplies from the blue and green range from the kit.

Step 2-Adhere a piece of white cardstock on a slight angle.

Step 3- Add splats of navy paint, let dry.

Step 4- Stamp various sized hearts from the stamp set included in the main  kit on a piece of white cardstock . I used navy ink for my layout.

Step 5- Add a few layers of patterned paper under your photo.

Step 6- Fussy cut a strip of the hexagone paper and adhere under the edge of the white cardstock.

Step 7-Add a few strips of papterned papers at the bottom right. Machine stitch into place,if desired.

Step 8- Add title, I used Thickers from a previous kit and one of the journaling cards.

Step 9- Fussy cut a few of the hexagone shapes and adhere to layout with 3D foam.

Step 10- Finish your layout by adding a few cute butterflies and stamp a few small hearts on the white cardstock.

Thanks for visiting today.
Happy Crafting !
Marielle

Blessed with Monique

Hello everyone, it's Monique here, with a detailed step-by-step of my "Blessed" layout. The June kit with the Early Bird collection from Bo Bunny contained the most amazing papers, like the sheet with all the clocks, which was definitely one of my favorites!

This is the page I made:

Here's how I created it: I started with the white cardstock and selected five different color mists, inks, etc.. which I sprayed and splattered horizontally over the center of my white cardstock like this:

Also included in the kit is this stamp set from 1Canoe 2 and I used a few of the stamps for my background as well:

I placed my photo on the cardstock background, below the stamped word "love" and punched and cut a series of clocks from the "Clocks" sheet:

Moving the clocks this way and that I came up with this design, which I quite liked. Except for the 10 clocks I also added a few die-cuts (butterfly and flowers):

I cut two strips from the paper "Time Flies" and adhered these at the top and bottom of my layout. I also added a few more die-cuts (bird, flower and another butterfly) and adhered the wood veneer word "blessed" on my photo:

Of course I needed to add some machine stitching:

and some hand written journaling:

After stamping the date (twice) my page was finished!

Two more close-ups:

This is it! Hope you like it!

Here's the photo of the June Main Kit. If you wish to read more about it and how you can secure one for yourself then please visit the MCS website.

Thank you so much for stopping by our blog today! Wishing you happy scrapping!
