Rachael ...altering chipboard and buttons

The gorgeous heart button in the Limited Edition kit was perfect for altering, here is what I did....



1. Sponge two coats of guesso onto the button, allow each layer to dry thoroughly.
2. Apply some vintage photo distress ink on top.
3. Add a layer of green Glimmer Glaze and leave it to dry.

I snipped off the back of the button, removed the pearl center of the Prima flower and replaced it with the button.

Give this technique a try!

Jolaine .. altering with crackle paint

Here's one of my LOs with the beautiful LE kit:



Now I will show you how I created the crackled, sparkly background:

1. Brush on a bit of crackle paint in the picket fence color in random places.


2.Once the paint is dry, rub Diamond FX over the surface for added detail!
