Detailing Fabric Tickets from Tomoko....

***Detailing the Fabric tickets***
I used a rub-on and some liquid pearls to detail the fabric tickets.

Here are some close ups.

First rub on the rub-on to where ever you want to place it on the fabric ticket.

Posted Image

*Glue a card stock behind the ticket to harden the ticket.

Posted Image

Cut off the sides.

Posted Image

Add glossy accents.
** This will also guard the rub-on from coming off.

Add some liquid pearls.

And your finished!!

Welcome Aboard Tomoko!!!

Hi, my name is Tomoko Takahashi and I live in Osaka, Japan. I am blessed with a 3 year old daughter and she sometimes acts just like me!! She's usually cute, but sometimes she can be so stubborn!!! (well, maybe because she's like me? lol) She is my reason for that I started scrapbook. And she will always be..... She is my little model and my inspiration:) I just love to crop all my precious memories spent with her. And someday, I wish we can look back at the albums together.
I started scrapbook in Mar. 2009 and I've loved it ever since. I love to use gentle colored paints and mists on my pages to create soft and feminine styles but I also love to use bold and vintage style every now and then. My inspiration comes from beautiful products and lovely pictures of my precious daughter. My style has been ever changing and I've been adventurous through my scrapbook life. But, I hope to find my own style someday by taking on all kinds of challenges. Thank you so much for this great opportunity!!!

Now to introduce a few of the fabulous Guest Designers we had join us for the October Kits.... Please help us give them a warm Welcome...

Hi Everyone! My name is Jana Eubank. I am so excited to be a guest here at My Creative Scrapbook this month! Thank you for having me! Paper has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! I grew up in a family that owns a printing/copying business. I managed one of the stores and dabbled in graphic design before becoming a wife and mother. My husband, Kevin, and I live in Bountiful, Utah, and are proud parents to three daughters and one son. I have been scrapbooking in one form or another since High School. As a mother of young children, scrapbooking developed into a passion of mine and I began serving on design teams and submitting my work to magazines. I have worked with several amazing manufacturers, kit clubs, challenge sites, and have had my work published in Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbook and Cards Today, Scrapbooks ETC,Scrapbook Trends, and Cricut Magazine. Currently, I create for the My Mind's Eye design team and work for Cricut managing two blogs and a design team of 12 talented gals. When I’m not scrapping, I love to celebrate life with my family, create sketches, peruse interior design magazines, and watch my favorite TV shows. I am hopelessly addicted to chocolate and Diet Coke and love listening to Pandora Radio while I scrap. To learn more about me, or see more of my work, please come by and visit me on my blog: http://www.janaeubank.com/

Hello, my name is Kimberly Neddo. I am both pleased and honored to be guest designing with My Creative Scrapbook.  I’ve been crafting for 15 years and counting! My favorite subjects are my beautiful family that I have been blessed with. They include my husband Todd; My children Noel (18), Foster (15) and Olivia (9) and 3 bonus children; Mike (21), Alex (21) and Charlie (15).  My favorite products to create with are Stamps and Patterned papers. I love to find ways to create unique embellishments using premade products. Thank you so much for having me as a Guest this month, I hope to inspire you all with this fun opportunity to work with this AMAZING kit! Loves, Kimberly

My name is Zoe Nemburt and I live in the beautiful province of Nova Scotia, with my husband of almost 10 years and our 3 children Yasmin 8, Aydin 6, and Ceyda 4, I work for Canada Post as a letter carrier but only Part time of course, A girls gotta scrap too right!!

I was born in southern England and we all moved here to Canada in 2006 and have never looked back, this is our new home and we are proud to call Canada our home! I've always enjoyed playing with paper and have dabbled in scrapbooking for many years however in February of 2008 I got bitten by the scrapping bug and have been addicted ever since!! I love to work with all mediums, I mainly create scrapbook pages but love to make altered projects too! I currently design for Tattered Angels, My Little Shoebox & Pebbles Inc. I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with the wonderful ladies at My Creative Scrapbook.

Anita Galliott.  I am from Nova Scotia Canada.  I have lived here for about 90% of my life, and am proud to be a "bluenoser".  I am the mother of 2 wonderful kids, and the wife of a great husband.  I have always been crafty.  I started drawing and sketching at an early age.  About 10 years ago I was introduced to scrapbooking before it became as big as it is now.  My style has evolved over the last few years, but I seem to levitate to a shabby, grungy style.  I feel that I have a lot of room to grow, which is what is so great about being a member of the kit club - I see varying styles which influence my own.  Aside from scrapping, I enjoy sewing and general crafting.  I am an "avid" runner and enjoy being active.  I am a lover of the arts, dance, painting - which makes sense with the the hobbies I'm into.  And I wouldn't be considered a proud canuck if I didn't mention my passion for hockey.  I'm very honoured to be a Guest Designer for MCS.  It was definitely a "list" item for me, and I'm very proud to share my craft with everyone.

Hi!!  I'm Marilyn Rivera, I live in Puerto Rico a Tropical island in the Caribbean  with my husband Israel(we've been  20 years married)  and my two teenagers Alexander and Paola Sofia. I'm a Fashion Designer so during the day I'm surrounded by fabrics, sewing machines, threads and dress forms and when I'm not playing with fabrics, it's with papers...I love to create!   My sister Karen introduced me to this beautiful hobby 4 years ago and I Loved it immediately!!!I and now I totally addicted, It's a therapy for me!   I found My Creative Scrapbooking Kit Club one year ago and these beautiful kits captured me at first sight!  Thank you Pam for this great opportunity!!!!

How did I do that ..Jolain mistables die cuts tutorial

Another fun addition to the LE kit this month is the mistable die cuts. These are great because you can color them any color you want to coordinate with your project. You don't have to limit yourself to spray the whole die cut shape one color, here's a quick tip on adding multiple shades to one die cut...

I colored the rose die cut using Glimmer Mist in Olive Vine and Candy Apple Red.

Posted Image

Instead of using the spray nozzle, I used a small paint brush which I dipped directly into the bottle to color the rose petals.

Posted Image

I repeated the same step, this time with Olive Vine to color the leaves.

Posted Image

After drying, I inked the edges with a brown ink for definition. Love the deep color and glimmer I got after using Glimmer Mist as a paint!
Posted Image

Now here's the die cut on my page...

Posted Image

Hope you give this a try! Can't wait to see how you all alter your Mistable die cuts!
